Sigur Ros reveal details of live CD and DVD release 'Inni'

The band will release the hefty package on November 7

Sigur Ros have revealed details of 'Inni', their double live album and film from their last shows, which took place in 2008 at Alexandra Palace.

'Inni' will be released on November 7 through the band’s label Krunk and documents the Icelandic group's final two shows before going on their 'indefinite hiatus' at the end of their world tour following the release of their fifth album.

Music and footage from ‘Inni’ is available on sigur-ros.co.uk, where the track 'Festival' can be downloaded for free.

The double live release is 105 minutes long and features the whole show, with just one song omitted. The accompanying 75-minute film – directed by Vincent Morisset – debuted at the Venice Film Festival earlier this month.

'Inni' will be released in a number of formats, CD/DVD, CD/Blu-Ray, Triple vinyl/DVD, Digital Edition and a Limited Special Edition, which features a host of special features, including an exclusive and unique-to-each-box artefact from the show itself in a numbered, printed envelope, one-sided 7" coloured vinyl with unreleased track 'Lúppulagid' and an enamel 'Inni' badge.
