Initial acts announced for CMJ 2007

Simian Mobile Disco, 1990s, Justice all confirmed

The initial line-up has been announced for this year’s CMJ Music Marathon set to take place October 16-20 in New York Cty.

Mates Of State will play the NME CMJ Party at Annex on October 18, with more acts to be announced shortly while Spoon will perform the closing set of the festival at Roseland Ballroom.

Other bands confirmed for the event are French dance masters Justice, Scottish rockers 1990s and Simian Mobile Disco as well as the US live debut of UNKLE.

Many more acts will be announced in the coming weeks. Stay tuned to NME.COM for the latest additions to CMJ 2007.
