James Ford rushes to Last Shadow Puppets show at Reading Festival

Simian Mobile Disco played an evening slot in the Dance Tent at the Reading Festival today (August 24), before SMD man James Ford had to rush off to play drums for The Last Shadow Puppets.

A large crowd had turned up to see the band's sunset show, which saw the duo drop tunes including 'Hustler', 'Sleep Deprivation', and 'It's The Beat'.

The band utilised impressive lighting effects to create a euphoric atmosphere for their show, before Ford headed off to bang the drums for The Last Shadow Puppets, who are up on the NME/Radio 1 Stage next.
