Simple Minds announce 'greatest hits' forest tour and ticket details
Simple Minds have announced details of an upcoming 2011 greatest hits tour.

The group will play at various woodland locations next summer as part of the Forestry Commission Live Music series of shows.

The band will begin the gig-run at Bedgebury National Pinetum in Kent on June 10. Support on the jaunt will come from Starsailor's James Walsh.

Simple Minds will play the following dates:

Bedgebury National Pinetum, Kent (June 10)
Thetford Forest, Suffolk (11)
Westonbirt National Arboretum, Gloucestershire (17)
Sherwood Pines Forest Park, Nottinghamshire (18)
Dalby Forest, North Yorkshire (24)
Cannock Chase Forest, Staffordshire (25)
Delamere Forest, Cheshire (July 3)
