GOOD GOTH!
Sisters Of Mercy have announced a UK tour for September, but contrary to reports on www.tickets-online.co.uk, the shows will not feature the original line-up of the band.

According to the official website, www.thesistersofmercy.com, the current touring line-up is Andrew Eldritch, vocals, Adam Pearson and Mike Varjak, guitars and long-serving drum machine Doktor Avalanche.

The Sisters headline two festivals in Germany - the Hildesheim Mera Luna Festival on August 12, and Dresden Doomsday Festival on the 16th.

The UK dates are: Glasgow Barrowland (September 2) Nottingham Rock City (3) London The Forum (5, 6)

There are also two dates confirmed for Spain - Madrid La Riviera, September 8, and Barcelona Zeleste the following night.

Eldritch's contract with EastWest records ended in 1998, and while there have been no releases from them, the band have been writing and recording and have continued to tour. They recently played the tragedy-hit Roskilde festival.
