SIX BY SEVEN AID WAR!

The rockers follow in the footsteps of the likes of Oasis and The Stone Roses in raising money for the charity...

SIX BY SEVEN are to play a live show at the OXFORD ZODIAC on December 11 to raise money for the charity WAR CHILD.

The Nottingham group will be supported by X-1 at the show. Tickets, priced £8 are on sale now. The proceeds of the gig will go to War Child, who are an international group of independent organisations dedicated to alleviating the suffering of children affected by war and bringing their plight to the world's attention.

Their profile was raised in 1995 with the release of the 'Help' charity compilation album, which featured contributions from Paul Weller, The Charlatans, Suede, the Stone Roses and Radiohead. All the tracks on the album were recorded in a day, and the album was released a week later. The money raised went to helping orphans in the Bosnian war.
