Skindred, Amy MacDonald and Kids In Glass Houses are among the new additions to the bill for this summer's Hard Rock Calling festival in London.

Hard Rock Calling will run from July 13–15 in London's Hyde Park, with reunited rockers Soundgarden headlining the opening night (July 13), Bruce Springsteen the second night (July 14) and Paul Simon closing the show on July 15 by performing his classic album 'Graceland' in its entirety.

Also joining the bill are Guillemots, Black Stone Cherry, Christina Perri, Guillemots, Marcus Foster and a host of other new acts.

Kids In Glass Houses have a busy summer of festival appearances ahead of them, with slots at Liverpool Sound City, Hit The Deck and Download Festival among those booked. After they complete their touring commitments, the band will begin work on new material for their fourth album.

Speaking to NME about this, singer Aled Phillips said: "I don't think we'll do another concept album. We'll take certain things from the recording process of 'In Gold Blood' and do them again, especially recording live, that made things a lot better. But I think we're done with concept albums for now."

See Hardrockcalling.co.uk for more information about the festival.
