Skinny Puppy announce details of new album
'Mythmaker' comes out at the end of this month
Skinny Puppy have announced the details of their 13th studio album.
The Canadian industrial rockers, who paved the way for goth-rock acts like Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson, will release ‘Mythmaker’ on January 30.
The album features contributions from long-time frontman Nivek Ogre said: “Control is the central concept to the record, the idea where mythic archetypes are clung to in an effort to preserve their own fucked-up sensibility. At the core, ‘Mythmaker’ surrounds the things people do, calculatingly or not, to either prop themselves up - like MySpace - or protect themselves.”
‘Pasturn’, a track from the new album, can be previewed on the band’s MySpace page Myspace.com/skinnypuppy.
