The Muppets star Kermit the Frog has said that he would "love" to work with Skrillex.

In a new interview, the fuzzy green legend and singer of The Muppets classic tunes, 'Rainbow Connection' and 'Bein' Green', said that he'd love to collaborate with an electronic artist, adding that though he's more of a "hip-hop frog" he does like dubstep.

Speaking to the Telegraph, Kermit said:

I'd love to collaborate with an electronic artist... and I'd love to work with Skrillex, even though I've never heard his music. We don’t get electronic music in the swamp. There’s something about electricity and water that just doesn't mix.

He added: "I'm more of a hip-hop frog, but I do like dubstep," though his fellow Muppet and paramour Miss Piggy said she's a big fan of the genre: "Moi simply can't sit still when Moi hears dubstep," she explained. "The bass is so powerful and the whole effect is so mesmerising and overwhelming! If I were a kind of music, I'd be dubstep."

Miss Piggy also spoke of her admiration for Lana Del Rey and Adele in the interview, saying: "I love Lana Del Rey... Right now, my current fave is, of course, Adele! Beauty, talent, a natural singer – she reminds me of Moi!"
