Skrillex is set to provide music for the forthcoming Disney film, Wreck-It Ralph.
The electronic producer and DJ will contribute tracks to the new animated movie, which will feature characters voiced by actors and comedians John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman and Jane Lynch.
The news was announced yesterday (July 12) at the ComicCon industry event – via Billboard. The film follows the behind-the-scenes lives of characters from old school video arcade games and is set for release this November.
Last month it was revealed that Skrillex will also score a new film starring James Franco. Spring Breakers, an upcoming comedy that also features US teen favourites Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez, will feature original music from the dubstep producer, whose real name is Sonny Moore.
Skrillex was recruited by the film's director, Harmony Korine, and musical director Randall Poster, who is well known for his work on numerous Wes Anderson films and the TV show Boardwalk Empire.
Spring Breakers began production earlier this year and is tentatively scheduled for a Spring 2013 release.
