Skrillex has issued a video for his new single 'Try It Out (Neon Mix)' – scroll down to watch.

The video features footage of the producer and DJ – real name Sonny Moore – travelling around the world, with scenes filmed at festivals, gigs, beaches, hotels and even on safari. In one unusual scene, he goes muzzle-to-muzzle with a lion, albeit behind the safety of a wire fence.

The track is a collaboration with Washington, DC-based producer Alvin Risk, who is signed to Skrillex's own OWSLA label. It was first heard – in a different mix – when played on Rinse FM in January 2013, and is available to buy on iTunes now.

Posting the video to YouTube, Skrillex writes: "'Try It Out (Neon Mix) sets a perfect mood for exercising, hunting T-Rexs, swimming in volcanos, playing with catbug, playing video games, or just hanging out with your parents on a cool summer's night. If you're feeling like you need a lil umph in your rumph, bang this track and get pumped up for whatever ever it is you're trying out."

Skrillex is yet to release his debut album. Asked about whether he had new music ready to release during an interview with Radio 1's Zane Lowe in August, he said: "For sure – sooner rather than later, I'd say sooner." He explained that he has more than an album's worth of new material, but doesn't yet know what format the release will take. "I have a lot of music right now, I have more songs than an album… will it be two releases or will it be one release? I don't know. If it feels like an album, it's an album, if it doesn't then it's gonna be a 10-minute mega song." He jokingly added: "It's gonna be a 15-second country ballet!"
