Skrillex is to perform live with a host of guest musicians at Bonnaroo festival in Tennessee in June, including Janelle Monae, Chance The Rapper and Warpaint.

Other musicians taking part in the dubstep producer’s ‘Superjam’ show as part of the June 12-15 festival include The Doors guitarist Robby Krieger, The Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart, Damian Marley, Zedd, Suicidal Tendencies bassist Thundercat and hip-hop collective Big Gigantic.

Bonnaroo is known for its collaborative ‘Superjam’ sets, which have previously seen The Neptunes, Odd Future and Wu-Tang Clan perform together, and D’Angelo make his live return as part of a show by The Roots. There are two other ‘Superjam’ shows at this year’s festival. Ben Folds, Chaka Khan and Andrew Bird play with Allman Brothers guitarist Derek Trucks, while bluegrass musicians The Lonesome Trio, Lake Street Drive and Ed Helms perform together.

Skrillex is on the cover of this week’s NME, which is on newsstands now and available digitally. He talks about not wanting to be associated with violence that featured in his early shows.
