Skunk Anansie announce new single and greatest hits album

Skin and co. to make their return this year

Skunk Anansie's comeback will begin with the reelase of a new single - followed by a greatest hits album.

The band, fronted by singer Skin, will release 'Because Of You' on September 14, followed by the compilation 'Smashes And Trashes' on November 2.

The tracklisting of the 15-track collection has not been revealed, although it is confirmed that as well as 'Because Of You' it will feature two further new songs - 'Tear The Place Up' and 'Squander'.

The band will follow the releases by touring the UK in November.

Leeds O2 Academy (November 21)
Glasgow O2 Academy (22)
Manchester O2 Academy (24)
Wolverhampton Civic Hall (25)
London Brixton Academy (26)
