UK's most popular Christmas song revealed

The public have voted for their favourite festive tune

Slade’s ‘Merry Xmas Everybody’ has been voted the most loved Christmas song by the British public in a new poll.

The poll, commissioned by MSN Music, saw 37 per cent of voters choose the Slade song, with 27 per cent going for ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas?’ by Band Aid, which was the second most popular choice.

Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ was the third most popular choice, followed by ‘Merry Christmas Everyone’ by Shakin’ Stevens the ‘Stay Another Day’ by East 17.

This is a piss poor selection, Bohemian Rhapsody? Shakin Stevens? East 17?

Where are the Pogues & Wizzard? or for that matter The Darkness
