Slash speaks on Guns N' Roses return
Slash
Guitarist reveals future plans
Slash has denied rumours that he will reunite with Guns N' Roses.
Instead, the guitarist will focus on his work with Velvet Revolver, the band he formed with former G’n’R members Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum.
“I don’t know where (the rumours come) from, but I haven’t dealt with any more than I have in the last ten years,” he told MTV. “So it’s not really a thing with me. I have, in the foreseeable future, no re-involvement with that band whatsoever.”
The legendary guitarist said that he does have some contact with Guns N' Roses singer Axl Rose, however.
“I’ve actually sent him Christmas cards, just to be cordial, but he never returns anything.”
Velvet Revolver are currently working on the follow up to 2004’s debut LP ’Contraband’.
