Slash has contributed a song for the soundtrack of the forthcoming Disney film Phineas And Ferb: The Movie – Across The 2nd Dimension. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click to listen to a preview.

The Velvet Revolver guitarist and former member of Guns N’ Roses has recorded a track for the film, according to Blabbermouth, which will be premiered on August 5 on the Disney Channel and released on DVD on August 23. He will also be turned into a cartoon character himself, when he appears in an animated video to promote the movie’s release.

Slash, who released his debut LP as a solo artist last year, revealed that watching the cartoon was a “guilty pleasure” and described his cameo appearance as “very rock and roll, even for a cartoon”.

Earlier this year, the guitarist revealed that he had already started work on the follow up to his 2010 self-titled album, and suggested that the record would be released in March or April in 2012.
