They're part of the 'Don't Look Back' series

Slint announce more performances of 'Spiderland'

Slint are set to perform their 1991 indie classic album 'Spiderland' in its entirety on several dates in the US and Europe.

The band will join Sonic Youth and The House of Love as part of this year's 'Don't Look Back' series, in which artists revisit classic albums.

In previous years, Belle & Sebastian, Teenage Fanclub and The Stooges have taken part in the 'Don't Look Back' gigs.

In addition to playing at London's KOKO on August 22 as previously announced, Slint have added another date there on August 23. They will also perform 'Spiderland' in Paris, Rome, Barcelona and other European cities, as well as two shows at New York's Webster Hall.

The dates are:

Bologna, Italy Estragon (28)
Rome, Italy Circolo Degli Artisti (29)
Barcelona, Spain Primavera Sound Festival (31)

Glasgow, UK Barrowlands (August 20)
London, UK Koko (22, 23)
