Slipknot have pulled out of this weekend's (August 22-24) Reading And Leeds Festivals after drummer Joey Jordison broke his ankle.
The band issued a statement today (August 20) stating that they have withdrawn from the English festivals, as well as previously scheduled appearances at Austria's 2 Days A Week festival (28) and Germany's Area 4 festival (29).
In the statement the band said that Jordison had been advised to rest for four to six weeks following his injury.
Slipknot announced details of a UK tour, set to begin on December 1, earlier today. They are still scheduled to play the dates.
