Smashing Pumpkins play comeback show tonight
The Smashing Pumpkins make their hugely-anticipated live return tonight (May 22) - and NME.COM will be right there.

Billy Corgan's returning grunge titans will play Paris Grand Rex, the band's first performance since their farewell show at Chicago Metro in December 2000.

As well as debuting tracks from their comeback album 'Zeitgeist', the show will see the unveiling of the band's two new members.

Only Corgan and drummer Jimmy Chamberlain remain from the original line-up, with guitarist James Iha and bass player D'arcy Wretzky replaced by unknowns, due to be revealed tonight.

Click back to NME.COM later tonight for a full on-the-spot report on the return of The Smashing Pumpkins.

Meanwhile, you can head over to our sister site Uncut.co.uk for an exclusive report on the first listen to 'Zeitgeist' by clicking here.

'Zeitgeist' is released on July 7.
