Smashing Pumpkins to release new material on January 1?
Band hint that the new year will see some brand new songs
Smashing Pumpkins have hinted that they will release brand new material from January 1, although they have not revealed on what format the songs will be released.
Writing on the Smashing Pumpkins’ official website, drummer Jimmy Chamberlain explained that the band are currently recording new material now.
“We are back in the studio recording some songs for a possible release worldwide,” he wrote. “Look for these around the first of the year. Busy Bees!”
The band reformed and release their first album in seven years, 'Zeitgeist', earlier this year.
