Snoop Dogg has been issued with a caution over his recent arrest, according to police.

The rapper was involved in a fracas at Heathrow Airport last month, after which he and five other associates were forced to spend a night in jail.

Dogg has now returned to the UK and presented himself at a London police station.

He was handed a caution for affray under Section 4 of the Public Order Act, which covers use of threatening words or behaviour.

Seven police officers were left with minor injuries after the disturbance - which involved 30 people - happened in a business lounge at Heathrow Airport's Terminal 1, according to the the police.

Police explained that the group were told they could not board their flight and "became abusive and pushed officers".

A Scotland Yard spokesman said at the time: "The party was told that they would not be permitted to board their flight and officers then attempted to direct the group to baggage reclaim. A number of the group became abusive and pushed officers."

A British Airways spokeswoman said the party have been banned from the airline because of the incident.
