The pair collaborate for the first time in five years

Snoop Dogg has teamed up with Dr. Dre for his forthcoming all-star album 'The Blue Carpet Treatment'.

The producer has worked on several tracks for the album alongside the likes of Neptunes, Timbaland and Rick Rock.

Snoop Dogg has also roped in the likes of R Kelly, Stevie Wonder, The Game, Ice Cube, Nate Dogg and Ne-Yo as guest singers for the follow up to 2004's 'R&G (Rhythm & Gangsta): The Masterpiece', reports Billboard.

The new songs are Dre and Snoop Dogg's first collaborations in nearly five years.

The track sees the pair contemplating life without hip-hop, and what the world would have been like if Tupac Shakur, shot dead ten years ago this month, was still alive.

'The Blue Carpet Treatment' is due for release in the US on November 21. A UK release date is still to be set.
