Snoop Dogg has spoken about his battle to be let into the UK to play the dates of his co-headlining tour with P Diddy this week.

As previously reported the star was denied a visa to enter Britain.

It followed his arrest on suspicion on violent disorder and affray at Heathrow Airport in April last year.

Speaking about the visa issue, the rapper said: “It feels like a slap in the face if I don’t get to perform there. I think (the government) need to speak to the kids. If they say they don’t want big Snoopy Dogg there I’ll keep it moving, otherwise open up and let me do what I do. I’m here to perform and give people what they want - to be a peace figure."

Referencing the time when he was at war with his co-headliner, Snoop said: "Me and Puffy come from a background where with the east coast and the west coast there were a lot of differences in the hip-hop community. But now we want to go around the world and show positive examples in the UK.

“With my mic and my presence I can reach kids the politicians can’t and tell them to stop the violence and killings that are currently going on in the UK.”

Snoop Dogg is due to play London Wembley Arena tomorrow night (March 27), reports MTV News.
