Shows off due to visa troubles
Snoop Dogg and P. Diddy have cancelled their joint concerts in the UK after the former was denied a visa.
As previously reported, on Saturday (March 24) it was announced that Snoop Dogg was denied a visa to enter Britain.
It was speculated that the gigs would carry on without Snoop Dogg, or that his performance would be beamed via satellite to the arena.
However, a tour spokesman said the shows were cancelled, claiming “credible behind-the-scenes efforts were made to no avail to reverse the decision”.
The rappers were said to be “incredibly disappointed and devastated”.
The gigs were due to call at London’s Wembley Arena tonight (March 27) and then at Cardiff, Manchester, Glasgow and Nottingham.
The tour is scheduled to resume in Dublin on March 31, reports BBC News.
