Snoop Dogg sentenced in court

Snoop Dogg has been sentenced to three years probation and 160 hours of community service after admitting to carrying a dangerous weapon.

He has also been told to donate £5,000 to a children's charity by the court.

The rapper was found with a collapsible baton in his luggage at John Wayne Airport in California last September.

Snoop Dogg's lawyer, Donald Etra, said the baton had been used by his client in a musical sketch and had advised him to plead not guilty, but Snoop Dogg agreed to a plea deal, wanting to resolve the issue, reports BBC 6Music.
