Snoop Dogg joins Nation Of Islam
'I'm an advocate for peace' says the rapper
Snoop Dogg has joined the Nation Of Islam.
The rapper made the announcement during the religion's Saviour's Day event in Chicago, which took place across February 27 and 28, reports BBC News.
He said that by signing up to the religion he was "doing what's right and representing what's right. I'm an advocate for peace, I've been in the peace movement ever since I've been making music".
Although he only made his religious beliefs public at the event, the rapper suggested that he had been signed up for a while.
"I'm already in the Nation, that's why I'm here," he said.
