Snoop Dogg has invited 68-year-old retired farmer Ian Neale to the Cardiff date of his current UK tour to try and get some gardening tips – click on the link below to see his personal request.

Neale claimed the record for the world's heaviest swede last month with this 85.5lb monster, and the rapper is looking to learn his green-fingered ways to cultivate his own plantlife.

Appearing on YouTube dressed in a Cardiff City shirt and standing in front of a background of cannabis plants, Snoop said:

What up? Shout out to my homeboy Ian Neale in Cardiff for breaking the world's record for the biggest vegetable… when I do my show in Cardiff, I want you to come backstage and see me because I do vegetation myself and I want to know your secret so I can show you my vegetables and see if you can grow that into a real big vegetable.

Sadly for Snoop, Mr Neale of Newport, South Wales, has turned down the invitation because he's more of a country and western fan, and so he won't be attending the show at Cardiff's Motorpoint Arena on October 8.
