Snoop Dogg was held by police border patrols in Norway over the weekend for carrying too much cash.

The rapper was stopped by immigration officials on Friday (October 14) ahead of an autograph signing session at an adidas store in Oslo and a gig in the city's Spektrum Arena.

Snoop took to his Twitter page Twitter.com/snoopdogg, to vent his anger as he wrote:

The rapper was eventually allowed through customs and he apologised to fans for being late for his signing session. "Shout out to all 600 fans in Oslo who waited all day at the adidas instore signing," he added.

Snoop Dogg is set to star in a new family sitcom in the US written by Don Theo who has previously worked on Two And A Half Men.
