Snoop Dogg appears in a new retelling of Charles Dickens’ classic story ‘A Christmas Carol’ as part of a new advertising campaign for Adidas.

Snoop introduces the cartoon in person, before an animated version of himself plays ‘Ebenezer Snoop’. In Snoop’s hands ‘Bah humbug’ becomes ‘Bah hum dizzle’. He’s then visited by the ghost of Christmas past, played by former World No. 1 tennis player Stan Smith, and the ghost of Christmas present, played by Beckham. Finally he’s visited by the ghosts of Christmas future: Rita Ora and NBA basketball star Derrick Rose. Snoop makes various references to his music, including referring to Christmas as the season of “gin and eggnog”.

Snoop recently revealed plans to buy shares in Celtic Football club, saying that he’d "bring a bit of Snoop to things". One of the rapper's plans was to bring Beckham to Glasgow. "I would try and sign him up for a season but he is pretty happy over here," said Snoop. "LA is home for him and his family now, but I would have to at least make that offer to my boy."

It’s not the first time that Snoop Dogg has got into the Christmas spirit. In 2008 he released ‘Snoop Dogg Presents Christmas In Tha Dogg House’, a compilation of Christmas rap songs.
