Snoop Dogg has launched Snoopify, his very own photo sharing app.

The rapper's free app is available on iOS and Android from today (May 7) and promises fans the opportunity to "take photos of your friends or environment and turn them into snoop-themed masterpieces". Users are able to add Snoop-themed stickers to their pictures and share them to Instagram, Facebook and Twitter as well as others who have downloaded the app.

Snoopify is Snoop's second app of 2013, following Snoop Lion Reincarnated: Track Notes App on iPad, which gives fans an insight into the rapper's new album and Rastafarian persona. Snoop is also moving into the world of computer games with new title Way of the Dogg due to launch on iOS, Android, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 later this year. A Snoop-themed level also appeared in the Tekken Tag Tournament game when it was released last year.

Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg recently claimed that he doesn't know if homosexuality will ever be accepted in the hip-hop community. "It's acceptable in the singing world, but in the rap world I don't know if it will ever be acceptable because rap is so masculine," he said of Frank Ocean coming out.
