Police smelt smoke coming from his tourbus...

SNOOP DOGG faces a month in jail after police discovered several bags of marijuana on his tourbus and charged him with possession.

Police pulled Snoop's bus over yesterday (October 17) outside of Cleveland, Ohio for speeding. According to Associated Press, police said that they smelt burning marijuana coming from the rap star's bus. Sniffer dogs then found six bags of marijuana weighing about 200 grams in the cargo hold of the bus.

Snoop, real name Calvin Broadus, was charged with possession, a minor crime which carries a fine of $100. However, he was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, which carries a maximum sentence of $250 and 30 days in prison.

Snoop was said to be "very co-operative with the state troopers involved". He is currently on the Puff Puff Pass 2001 tour, the title of which is a reference to marijuana-smoking etiquette.
