SNOOP DOGG has been fined after pleading no contest to possession of marijuana.

As previously reported on NME.COM, police pulled Snoop's tourbus over last October outside of Cleveland, Ohio for speeding. Police with sniffer dogs found six bags of marijuana weighing about 200 grams in the cargo hold of the bus.

Snoop was charged with possession as a result of the haul.

MTV news reports that the rapper, real name Calvin Broadus, pleaded no contest to the charge at the Ohio Oberlin Municipal Court (May 28). He was fined $250 plus costs, totalling $398.30.

A 30-day jail sentence has been suspended for two years.
