Keyboard player Tom Simpson to appear in court

Snow Patrol’s Tom Simpson is expected to appear in court to face a drug charge.

Keyboardist Simpson is accused of cocaine possession in Glasgow in June last year.

He was not present at a hearing into the case at the city’s Sheriff Court earlier this month.

However, his lawyer was told that he must appear in court on Tuesday (July 31).

Simpson is accused of the drugs charge along with another man, Colin Kennedy.

The band are set to headline the V Festival on August 18-19 at Chelmsford and Weston Park.
