Snow Patrol are letting fans hear their forthcoming new album, 'A Hundred Million Suns', in full prior to its release on Monday (October 27).

The album is available to listen to now through an exclusive NME.COM Snow Patrol weblink leading to a playback page on Snowpatrol.com.

The album, the band's fifth, was produced by Jacknife Lee in Ireland and features 11 songs, including lead single 'Take Back The City'.

I'd rather have my arms chopped off and fed to me at gunpoint. The first single is such a weak effort, and i'm sure the album is going to be the usual shite they trot out. I seriously cannot understand the appeal of this soulless, middle-of-the-road band.

They're a band who seem to get worse and worse, hopefully they'll call it a day after this album crashes.

ok to allthree comments what a load of rubbish ive been a fan of them since the beginning and they have came on leaps and bounds this fifth album is amazing and quite frankly can see them lasting a lot longer than most bands out there these days!!! and actually most people can name all five members!!!Gary lightbodynathan connolley paul wilsontom simpson johnny quinn

Ha ha ha, "the fifth album is amazing", yeh I suppose it would be if all you bought was music you hear on the radio or if your a fifty something spinster who has just started to get into music. I agree that they'll last longer than a lot of the other rubbish that's out there but that wouldn't be difficult considering the rubbish that's out. I dare say you also hold the Kooks, Razorlight and Scouting for girls in high regard...

I know I'm totally going to get slated for saying this but their last 2 albums have been pretty good. Song structures and lyrics are terribly simple but it's cool music to chill out to. I hate coldplay, kooks etc and all the other mainstream crap but I'm ashamed to say I've always had a thing for Snow Patrol. Heard a few tracks off this new one and that too seems like a grower!

snowpatrol1 you couldn't be further off the mark, I'm defo not a fan of Artic Monkeys, I suppose some of their stuff might be classed as catchy but it's not my thing, so your dreadfully wrong...just like Snow Patrol.
