SUPER SONIC!

The veteran US indie band play a big show in London...

Sonic Youth have announced they will play a UK date in September.

The veteran band, who released new album 'Sonic Nurse' earlier in the month, will play at the London Brixton Academy on September 2.

The band also released a retrospective DVD 'Corporate Ghost' last week, featuring 23 of the band's videos, as well as commentary and other features.

Sonic Youth will be appearing on the Lollapalooza tour over the summer.

Ticktets for the band's Brixton gig are on sale now.
