Sonic Youth, The Gossip to headline Seattle summer festival
Black Lips, Deerhunter also set for Capitol Hill Block Party
Sonic Youth, Gossip, Black Lips and Deerhunter are among the bands that will headline Seattle's Capitol Hill Block Party this summer.
Also on the bill for the 12th annual weekend festival, which takes place July 24 and 25 in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighbourhood, are The Thermals, The Jesus Lizard, Spinnerette, Mika Miko and The Blakes.
The festival is designed to showcase musical acts from the American Northwest, and takes place over three stages.
Tickets for the event are set to go on sale this Friday (May 1) at 10.00am PST. For tickets and further information, visit Ticketswest.com.
