Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore starts his own publishing company
'Ecstatic Peace Library' to begin releasing books early next year
Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore has started his own publishing company, called 'Ecstatic Peace Library'.
The singer and guitarist, who has already set-up a record label and co-authored a few books, will be releasing art books by Raymond Pettibon, Dave Markey and, his wife/bandmate Kim Gordon, reports LA Times.
The 'Ecstatic Peace' moniker marks a continuation of Moore's record label of the same name, which has released records and cassettes by artists such as Be Your Own Pet, Andrew WK and Magik Markers.
