SONICS LET DOWN THEIR GARDE!

The performance is titled 'Goodbye 20th Century'...

SONIC YOUTH have announced they are to play a one-off show at the LONDON ROYAL FESTIVAL HALL on June 16.

The performance has been titled 'Goodbye 20th Century', and will lift material from the band's recent album of the same name, which on its release paid tribute to modern avant-garde composers such as Yoko Ono and John Cage by covering their songs.

Jim O' Rourke, who also performed on the 'Goodbye 20th Century' record, will also play at the Festival Hall show.

Tickets, on sale now, are priced £15-20.
