[a]Chris Cornell[/a] pens song for [B]Jeff...
Ex-Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell has written a song in tribute to the late Jeff Buckley on his debut solo album.
The as-yet-untitled record, due out on Polydor in September, will feature 'Wave Goodbye', penned by Cornell after Buckley's death in May 1997. Cornell helped to compile Buckley's posthumous 'Sketches (For My Sweetheart The Drunk)' album with the singer's mother Mary Guibert.
