Soundgarden are streaming the original demo for the classic track, 'Black Hole Sun'.

Click below to listen to the early version of the song, which has been released to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the band's 'Superunknown' album, which is being re-released in two deluxe formats in June. The band will also be putting out five limited edition 10" records of the album's singles for Record Store Day, on April 19.

Soundgarden will play Barclaycard British Summer Time in London's Hyde Park on July 4, alongside Black Sabbath, Wolfmother, Faith No More, Motörhead, Soulfly, Gallows and Rise To Remain. They will then join Nine Inch Nails on a joint Stateside tour, heading out on 23 US dates together throughout July and August. The tour will begin in Las Vegas on July 19 before finally winding up at the Hollywood Bowl on August 25. Experimental Sacramento hip-hop group Death Grips, meanwhile, will open up for the two bands on all but two of the dates.

Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden have an interesting history together, since both bands released key albums on the same day in 1994. March 8 saw the release of both Nine Inch Nails' second LP 'The Downward Spiral' and Soundgarden's fourth album 'Superunknown'. The band also shared a bill at Ontario's Molson Park that same year - the last time the bands have played together to date - where NIN frontman Trent Reznor described the rivalry between the bands as "a kind of professional showdown".
