Spandau Ballet add second homecoming date
Reunited band sell out O2 arena in 20 minutes
Spandau Ballet have added a second night at the London O2 Arena, after their first reunion show there sold out in 20 minutes this morning (March 27).
The band will now play the venue on October 21, as well as the originally announced show the night before.
"There's been a phenomenal response to the tour going on sale this morning and even more special that our hometown gig has sold out and we are adding an extra date," noted the band's Gary Kemp.
Spandau Ballet announced their reunion earlier this week onboard HMS Belfast in London.
The dates are as follows:
Dublin O2 (October 13)
Belfast Odyssey Arena (14)
Sheffield Arena (16)
Glasgow SECC (17)
London O2 Arena (20, 21)
Birmingham NEC (24)
Newcastle Metro Radio Arena (26)
Manchester MEN Arena (28)
