Spandau Ballet plan Take That collaboration
Tony Hadley and Gary Barlow have apparently bonded over the pressures of being "famous and fat"
Spandau Ballet singer Tony Hadley has revealed plans to collaborate with Take That.
Hadley befriended the boyband's leader Gary Barlow after they bonded over knowing what it's like to be "famous and fat", according to MSN.
"I'm hoping to start writing with Gary after the Spandau shows and we've started talking about it. I love Gary, he's great," the website reports Hadley as commenting.
He also discussed Spandau Ballet's recent reformation and announcement of a UK tour.
"We had a few pints together and actually got on extremely well. It took a while but it's amazing what beer can do. It's been nice to bury the hatchet, but not in each other's heads," he added.
The band will play the following dates:
Dublin O2 (October 13)
Belfast Odyssey Arena (14)
Sheffield Arena (16)
Glasgow SECC (17)
London O2 Arena (20, 21, 22)
Birmingham NEC (24, 25)
Newcastle Metro Radio Arena (26)
Manchester MEN Arena (28)
Liverpool Echo Arena (29)
