It’s their first jaunt in five years

Sparklehorse announce US tour

Sparklehorse have announced the dates of their first US tour in five years.

The jaunt kicks off in Austin and hits several US cities before wrapping up in Atlanta in March.

Sparklehorse will support their latest album, ‘Dreamt For Light Years In The Belly Of A Mountain’, released in the US in fall 2006. The album features collaborations with Danger Mouse, Steven Drozd of the Flaming Lips and Tom Waits.

Jesse Sykes & The Sweet Hereafter will open on the tour, supporting their third full-length album, ‘Like, Love, Lust & The Open Halls of the Soul’, which will see a February 6 US release.
