Sparks to release limited edition 'Morrissey' single

The band are also set to play two albums in full for London shows

Sparks have announced details of a Morrissey-referencing limited edition vinyl single, to be released this March.

The Mael brothers are planning the release to coincide with their upcoming London Forum shows, which see them perform two of their albums in full.

The band release 'Lighten Up, Morrissey' on March 23.

The vinyl version of the single is backed by new song 'Brenda's Always In The Way', while a download comes with 'I Can't Believe That You Would Fall For All The Cr@p In This Song', which is taken from their 2008 album 'Exotic Creatures Of The Deep'.

On March 20, Sparks are set to perform 'Exotic Creatures Of The Deep' and 1974's 'Kimono My House' in full at the Forum, followed by a selection of assorted Sparks favourites.

The following night, they will play 'Exotic Creatures Of The Deep' and 1979's Giorgio Moroder collaboration 'No 1 In Heaven', again followed by some Sparks favourites.

Dear NME,Today I bought the album of the year. I feel I can say this without expecting several letters saying I'm talking rubbish. The album is Kimono My House by Sparks. I bought it on the strength of the single. Every track is brilliant, although I must name 'Equator', 'Complaints', 'Amateur Hour' and 'Here In Heaven' as the best tracks and in that order.
