Record label Epitaph strikes deal with music app
Spotify has added tracks by bands including The Offspring, Bad Religion and Rancid to its online catalogue after striking a deal with notable US record label Epitaph.
The deal means that tracks by acts on the ANTI- label (an imprint of Epitaph) including NOFX, Millencolin and The Hives, have also been added.
Set up by Bad Religion's Brett Gurewitz, Epitaph and ANTI- have also released records by Tom Waits, Pennywise, New Found Glory and The Blackout.
The first batch of new songs from the label are available to listen to on Spotify today (May 27). In total, 14,826 new tracks have been added to the service because of the update.
