The band visualise the music of 'Finisterre' live with a series of short films...

St. Etienne are to embark on a 'cinematic' tour of the UK to launch their sixth studio album 'FINISTERRE'.

The band will perform material from the album, released through Mantra on September 30, as well as showcasing a series of short films which visualise the music at an already sold-out date at London ICA on August 15
and Edinburgh Film Festival on August 17. More dates around that time are expected to be announced shortly.

The group have also announced a one-off show at London's prestigous Royal Festival Hall on October 10. Tickets are on sale now. To buy call the NME Ticketline on 0870 1 663 663, or click here.


'Finisterre', which is Doves first studio album since 2000's 'Sound Of Water', features guest appearances from [a][/a] guitarist Jez Willamsand actor Michael Jayston, while the creator of legendary punk fanzine 'Sniffin' Glue', Mark Perry, has written the sleevenotes.

A single, 'Action', precedes the album on August 12.
