The band announce release date for ’Tales From Turnpike House’ and a UK tour…

'HOUSE' MUSIC

St. Etienne will release their new album ’TALES FROM TURNPIKE HOUSE’ on June 13.

Following 2002’s ’Finisterre’, the new LP is a concept album based around life in an east London block of flats and initial copies will come with the ’Up The Wooden Hills’ EP.

’Tales From Turnpike House’ features vocal arrangements from Tony Rivers - best known for his work with the Beach Boys - as well as a guest appearance from David Essex.

The EP ’Up The Wooden Hills’ will give fans a taster of St. Etienne forthcoming full-length children’s album of the same name.

Due to be released in September, the record will feature a ’Daytime’ side and a ’Sleeptime’ side.

St. Etienne will tour the UK in June. The dates are:
Brighton Concorde 2 (June 15)
London Koko (16)
Glasgow ABC (17)
Manchester Northern College Of Music (18)
