FRENCH MISSING IN THE USA - UNTIL NOW!

The band tour the [b]US[/b] for only the third time in 12 years...

SAINT ETIENNE are to tour the US later this month for only the third time in 12 years.

According to the US website www.sonicnet.com, the band plan to play 13 shows across America and Canada at the end of September and start of October.

They play: Vancouver Richard's (September 21) Seattle ISPY/Nation (22) San Francisco Fillmore (24) Los Angeles Palace (25) Pomona Glass House (26) Chicago House of Blues (29) Pontiac 7th House (30) Boston Axis (October 2) Montreal TBA (3) Toronto Opera House (4) Philadelphia Upstage (6) New York Bowery Ballroom (7-8)

The band are not planning any UK shows for the immediate future, but a new single is tipped for release in October. Sources close to the band revealed that the choice of single is expected to be 'Boy Is Crying' from their recent album 'Sound Of Water'.
