Starsailor's James Walsh to play Matthew Jay tribute gig
London tribute bash to take place next month
A tribute to late singer-songwriter Matthew Jay will take place at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire next month.
Starsailor frontman James Walsh, Squeeze's Chris Difford and Kathryn Williams are amongst the names announced for the Further Than Tomorrow gig, which will take place on October 10, the date that would have been Jay's 30th birthday.
Other acts confirmed include Passenger, Dlugokecki, Helen Boulding, Matthew Jay's backing band, Henrik, New Shoes and Vasco.
Matthew Jay died in 2003 after falling from a seventh floor window in London .
A coroner recorded an open verdict.
