Rock veterans bring out the hits in early afternoon sun

Status Quo make Glastonbury debut
British rock veterans Status Quo played Glastonbury for the first time today (June 28).

The band played a hit-packed set before a large crowd in the early afternoon sunshine.

The set kicked off with two of the group’s biggest hits, 'Caroline' and 'The Wanderer', with the Quo rarely pausing between songs so they could cram as much as possible into their hour-long set.

Status Quo finished with four massive crowd-pleasers, including their 1975 UK Number One hit 'Down Down', and their cover of John Fogerty's 'Rockin' All Over The World', which was famously the first song at 1985's Live Aid charity concert.

Status Quo played:

'Caroline'
'The Wanderer'
'Rain'
'Mean Girl'
'Softer Ride'
'Beginning Of The End'
'What You're Proposing'
'Island Girl'
'Big Fat Mama'
'The Oriental'
'Creeping Up On You'
'In The Army Now'
'Roll Over Lay Down'
'Down Down'
'Whatever You Want'
'Rockin' All Over The World'
